What Volunteers Do

Our volunteers support a range of activities that bring our programmes to life:

Buddy Support

Provide one-on-one support at group sessions and community activities

Social Outings

Help young people participate in social outings and inclusive activities

Practical Support

Assist with practical tasks at Lilac House and programme events

Confidence Building

Encourage participants and help them build confidence in their abilities

Flexible Commitment: We welcome volunteers who want to help weekly, monthly, or on special events — your time makes a meaningful difference.

Requirements

Who Can Volunteer

We offer flexible opportunities for people of all backgrounds. Volunteers are given full training and ongoing support.

Time Commitment

Whether you have a few hours a month or can commit more regularly, we'd love to hear from you.

Access NI Check

An Access NI check is required for most roles to ensure safe support for young people.

Full Training

Comprehensive training provided to ensure you feel confident and prepared in your role.
